"The Goodness Awards provide a platform for celebrating what is good and great in, with and for our community. These awards are an inspiring showcase of local organisations and individuals making our world a better place, for all, for ever."
Sustainability and innovation go hand in hand as being considerations that will enable a good (and better) future in our region. We have so many individuals and organisations in our community that deeply consider the wider social and ecological impacts of their activities, and are using new and creative means to address needs or seize opportunities.
“Goodness” refers to just that — a quality within people or organisations, in their soul, their DNA and something the live every day. It’s not just about a good idea or a positive impact, it’s also about how the idea was conceived, how we work together to make it happen, and how it feels along the way. These Awards are about recognising that Goodness!
